wow i cant believe Lindsay had her farewell already!!!! im super excited to hear about the mission in mexico, from what ive heard mexico is super awesome, and the border with guate is super hot, so thats awesome. I love serving in the heat i dont know why but i love it. It has been suuuuppppeeerr hot this week, the heat doestn bother me, but my clothes are always really wet from sweaty, and we didnt have water for a little while, so that was super gross, but its back again so thats good. on saturday night there was a ton of dances going on for graduation, and we were walking home at likie 8 55 and all the sudden everything went pitch black and silent and then everyone started srceaming like crazy, the entire city shut down, it was pretty terrifying, i grabbed hermana lopez and we started running for the house. and we didnt have a flashlight or anything in the house so it was a super interesting and fun night. but yeah i dont know what happened. But this was a good week, i was studying 3 nephi and i loved this scripture
1 And it came to pass that thus passed away the ninety and fifth year also, and the people began to forget those signs and wonders which they had heard, and began to be less and less astonished at a sign or a wonder from heaven,insomuch that they began to be hard in their hearts, and blind in their minds, and began to disbelieve all which they had heard and seen—
2 Imagining up some vain thing in their hearts, that it was wrought by men and by the power of the devil, to lead away and deceive the hearts of the people; and thus did Satan get possession of the hearts of the people again,insomuch that he did blind their eyes and lead them away to believe that the doctrine of Christ was a foolish and a vain thing.

some times we have these amazing spiritual experiences and we think well never forget them, but a lot of the time we begin to forget, and people imagine that these amazing experiences we've had were just coincidence or our imagination. and even though we've seen miracles from heaven and signs from Gad, after a while we don't even remember them. its super sad. I don't think people go inactive because they never had a testimony, or because they never felt the spirit, its because they weren't doing those things they needed to be doing to continue having those spiritual experiences. We need to be doing things every single day to feel the spirit and to help us remeber the signs and wonders weve seen, because unfortunately we do forget, we need to be contantly strengthing our testimony, or else we will forget. Laman and Lemual saw an angel and Im sure they had many spiritual experiences, but they never did anyhting of their own will to strengthen their testimonies, so of course they always fell away. So we cant depend in these experiences we had in the past, or in the mission, or whenever, we need to make more of those experiences for ourselves everyday, or we will forget. So yeah, thats what I was thinking about this week. Love you guys have an awesome week!!!!!!!
